Castel Beach Platamon Neos Panteleimonas, Olympic Region

Castel Beach Platamon in the Olympic Region

Castel Beach Platamon is located just below Platamon Castle and is the last in a series of beaches that start from the tourist resort of Plaka, forming a large mega beach. Many consider this beach to be part of Panteleimonas Beach, as there is no natural barrier separating the two.

However, Castel Beach Platamon differs from the neighbouring Panteleimonas Beach primarily in the higher presence of pebbles compared to sand, as well as the difficulty in finding parking, especially during peak season.

Key Features of Castel Beach Platamon

  1. Pebble beach
  2. Showers and changing cabins are available on the beach
  3. There is a bar offering sunbeds and sun umbrellas
  4. Stunning views of Mount Olympus and Platamon Castle

On the far right side of this beach, there is a restaurant built in the style of the castle above it. The beach is equipped with showers, changing cabins, and a bar that provides sunbeds and sun umbrellas. If you are arriving by car, free parking for the beach is located along the road leading to the beach, but finding a spot during peak season can be challenging unless you arrive early.

Like Panteleimonas Beach, this beach offers beautiful views of Mount Olympus and Platamon Castle, although there is no natural shade at Castel Beach Platamon. Due to the greater difficulty in finding parking here, unless you plan to visit the castle-style restaurant, there is no particular reason to switch from Panteleimonas Beach to Castel Beach Platamon.
