Gerakini Beach Sithonia
Gerakini Beach has a semi-circular shape and is characterized by fine sand and a path that runs along the beach for almost its entire length. Along this path, there are benches for those 'old-fashioned' individuals who have the time to sit and enjoy the sea view.
It's simply strange how the "city beaches" in Sithonia perfectly match and follow the size of the resorts they belong to. This is also the case with the beach of the Gerakini resort.
Unfortunately, for more modern visitors, there are no red 3D letters with the inscription "Gerakini Beach" which are perfect to take several photos. I know, you'll agree it's completely unbelievable that almost no beach in Greece has those letters!?
Gerakini Beach has something that no other beach in Sithonia has...
I could end the description of this nice city beach here because it more or less has similar characteristics to other city beaches in Sithonia. But, this beach still has something that sets it apart from the rest...
Someone thought it would be a great idea to build a 'nice' industrial facility right here on the beautiful tourist spot, immediately to the right of the beach. This idea obviously appealed to everyone, so on Gerakini Beach, you can see what it looks like in practice when tourist and transport-production industries are combined.
There is plenty of parking at Gerakini Beach
So, this interesting beach combines everything, even incompatible things. A nice place for leisure and an industrial port. In any case, the beach is very easy to reach, with a good road, and there is plenty of parking.
