Goa Beach near Sarti in Sithonia
Goa Beach is a small sandy beach near the popular resorts of Sarti and Sykia in Sithonia, Chalkidiki. This unique beach has a distinct character and charm that visitors at first sight, either love or hate. If you are claustrophobic or dislike confined spaces, you should reconsider visiting Goa Beach. However, if you enjoy unique natural settings, this beach is a great choice.
After passing Sykia towards Sarti, you will see on the right, a muddy downhill road. Despite the challenging drive downhill, there is a small parking area with a WC at the end of the road.
Goa Beach offers organized parking, and there is a beach bar where you can rent sun umbrellas and sunbeds
After you park a car, you need to walk down the path, and you will reach the beach, which is larger than it initially appears. The beach bar allows you to enjoy full comfort with refreshing drinks. The beach's beauty is enhanced by high rocks on either side, which some visitors say resemble two petrified dragons. The beach itself is sandy, with pebbles and stones in the water.
Due to the difficult road access, it is not recommended for families with very young children, but those families with older children might enjoy this small adventure. The beach also offers a spectacular view of Mount Athos.
