Kalyves Beach Sithonia
If any beach can be called a "hotel beach," then it's definitely Kalyves Beach. Although, access here is open to everyone, whether staying at the hotel or not. Along almost its entire length of this not-so-attractive beach, is a road where visitors can park. Otherwise, there is no specially organized parking. Fortunately or unfortunately, besides hotel guests, hardly anyone else comes to this beach, so you do not have to worry about parking.
In front of each hotel, there are sun loungers and sun umbrellas on the beach, as well as a security person who ensures order and peace on that specific part of the beach.
So, all you have to do is set up your sun umbrella and towel, anywhere except in the hotel areas. However, since this sandy beach is very long and not overly crowded, you will not have trouble finding a nice spot to enjoy.
At Kalyves Beach, you can enjoy water sports
Kalyves Beach also offers organized water sports such as windsurfing, and if you wish, you can rent a pedal boat or kayak. There is also a volleyball court on the beach. The water is very clean, and entering the water is quite gradual.
In addition, you can take a walk to the abandoned windmill 'Anemomylos,' which is located nearby, at the beginning of the settlement. The windmill has seen better days, but if you are skilled with your phone, with the right angle and a few filters, you'll get a beautiful memory from this place.
