Kriaritsi Beach Sithonia

Kriaritsi Beach is located not far from the tourist resorts of Sikia and Kalamitsi, and is also close to Sarti. Unlike the neighbouring Tigania Beach, which is bustling with tourists, Kriaritsi Beach is almost never crowded. This allows visitors to peacefully enjoy the turquoise sea and the "golden" sand.

Kriaritsi is a place that captivates with its diversity and interesting configuration. There are many difficulties here, especially when it comes to parking. So drivers, don't miss the opportunity to visit this unique place. You can practice manoeuvring, driving over smaller or larger potholes, making U-turns at intersections... However, most importantly, there is plenty of parking space here.

To reach Kriaritsi Beach, you have to navigate through a maze of roads

There is a maze of roads here reminiscent of that cartoon where a man tries to find a way out, and in the end, when he fails, he opens a hot dog stand. But if you manage to reach the sea, you will be "welcomed" by no less than 4 beautiful beaches: Kriaritsi, Klimataria, Tigania, and Prassou. All beaches except Prassou are urbanized and have beach bars, while Kriaritsi and Klimataria beaches also have taverns.

At Kriaritsi Beach, you can rent sun umbrellas and sun loungers

Kriaritsi Beach is most similar to Kalamitsi Beach in terms of characteristics. This means "golden" sand and turquoise sea, but without a long shallow area. Therefore, special attention must be paid to children and non-swimmers here. There are also several beach bars and camps where you can rent sun umbrellas and sun loungers.

Kriaritsi and Kalamitsi beaches differ in that Kriaritsi Beach is much less visited. The reason is accessibility, due to the aforementioned maze of roads. However, there are no parking problems here. Also, Kriaritsi offers a magnificent view of Mount Athos, unlike Kalamitsi Beach.

In addition to the main Kriaritsi Beach, on the left side, there are two smaller beaches separated by rocky parts. There is a tavern built on the rocks, with small paths, making it easy to reach them.
