Stiladario Beach Sithonia
Stiladario Beach is a beautiful sandy beach, with no nearby settlements, giving guests a sense of complete isolation in a natural environment. The only drawback of this beach is a large rock located about 5 meters from the shore in the sea, which can be inconvenient when entering and exiting the water. Near this part of the beach, right next to the famous train carriage, there is a small rocky peninsula.
However, the main curiosity, or rather peculiarity, of this beach is the train carriage located here. No one knows how this train carriage ended up on Stiladario Beach or what purpose it served. Perhaps someone envisioned a railway in Chalkidiki, perhaps that person lived ahead of their time, but regardless, unfortunately, he did not live to see this "iron horse" transport tourists from Thessaloniki to this beautiful beach. Unfortunately, this "monument" has been subjected to the ravages of time, so today it serves merely as an interesting spot for taking photographs.
Stiladario Beach consists of two parts. The right side is where the sun loungers of a nearby hotel are located. This part of beach can use exclusively hotel guests, while the larger part of the beach is intended for free use, with, of course, your own beach equipment.
The left part of the beach is often referred to as "Las Bandidas," after the bar of the same name located there. This part of the beach has similar natural characteristics to the previous one, so you can't go wrong with whichever you choose.
