Lagomandra Beach Sithonia
This beach doesn't need a special introduction. It's well-known among nature lovers, the most beautiful of the beautiful, everyone's favourite beach, including mine, beloved and unique, Lagomandra! Of course, its perennial "challengers" in the super weight category for winning the championship belt of the most beautiful beach in Sithonia and the whole of Chalkidiki are the favoured Orange Beach and the phenomenal Platanitsi Beach.
Undoubtedly, this is the most beautiful beach in northern Sithonia. The main asset of this beach is the pine forest. The scent of pines reaching down to the water spreads a beautiful aroma, and the combination of the green colour of the pines and the turquoise sea is something that will not leave anyone indifferent.
Near Lagomandra, there are two beautiful beaches
Even if you don't take a swim in the crystal-clear waters of Lagomandra Beach but just take a nap in the shade of the pines or read a book to the sounds of the waves, it will be enough for a true enjoyment. If you are visiting Lagomandra for the first time, it's recommended to first visit the two adjacent beaches - Koviou and Kalogria - to get a little accustomed to what awaits you at Lagomandra Beach.
Lagomandra Beach consists of three parts
Lagomandra comprises three beaches, and all three beaches on the shore and in the water have a fine sand, while in some places, you can find small pebbly and rocky parts. The left part of the beach is the largest, and there are only places for renting pedal boats and kayaks. So, there are no beach bars with sun loungers here, but despite that, this part of the beach is very well-visited, especially during the peak season.
The middle part of the beach is the most organized in terms of beach facilities. Here are sun loungers, showers, a beach volleyball court, as well as a lifeguard. Completely to the right is the so-called "Little Lagomandra."
If you are coming with children to Lagomandra Beach, pay special attention to the depth of the water, which increases suddenly. Because of this, always keep an eye on the children. Near the rocky part, you must also be careful of sea urchins. In any case, there is plenty of natural shade where children can have a nice nap.

Like on all popular beaches, there is a lack of parking space at Lagomandra Beach during peak season, then increased crowding on the beach during the same period, and slightly higher prices. Otherwise, everything is very clean and tidy at Lagomandra Beach. The seawater is transparent, so be sure to bring snorkelling masks with you.
