Sarti Summer Resort in Sithonia
Sarti is located on the eastern coast of Sithonia, and you are always welcome in this beautiful seaside resort. Sarti has remained a place where nature, local customs, tradition, and culture are almost untouched. Fortunately, at least for now, mass tourism hasn't taken hold here.
Sarti was founded by Greek refugees from Asia Minor who had to leave their homes due to the Turkish invasion. The inhabitants initially engaged in agriculture and fishing, and it wasn't until the 1970s that tourism began to flourish. Today, it is the most prevalent economic activity in this place.

Sarti is a tourist destination that is constantly developing and improving its offerings day by day. The biggest advantage of Sarti, besides its beautiful beach, is the promenade next to it, which is nearly 2 km long. Visitors to Sarti can take an evening walk by the sea, where at the end of the promenade, towards the center, there are many cafes and great restaurants. Additionally, not far from Sarti, there is a well-maintained and modern children's park as well as a football field. If you need an ATM, you can find one in the center of Sarti.

When the sun sets, Sarti shows its other face. It becomes a lively little town where the fun sometimes lasts until the early morning hours. Many people gather at the main square and start their evening walk. Here, you have access to numerous cafes and taverns, and if you are a romantic soul, you can visit the beach where small candles are placed on the tables of local cafes.
For basic necessities, there are several shops. Besides food markets, there are also clothing stores, souvenir shops, toy stores, beach accessories, and a few jewellery stores. Of course, you will also find numerous taverns with delicious local and international specialties, especially fish, as well as a pizzeria, bakery, and a few gyro places.
Beaches of Sarti Resort
Sarti has three beaches, with the main city beach being the most prominent. Also, on both the left and right sides of Sarti, there are beaches that are not too big or particularly crowded. So, if you want to be alone, choose Achlada and Platania beaches.
Achlada Beach, Sarti, Sithonia
Are you vacationing in Sarti or its surroundings, writing a novel, or simply wanting complete solitude? If so, Achlada Beach is the best choice for you. When you head from Sarti towards Vourvourou, you will see a sign for Achlada Beach right after leaving Sarti. Turn there, and after 100 meters, you will see a fork with two paths.
Platania Beach Sarti
Someone might wonder why go to the suburban Platania Beach when the beautiful and spacious Sarti city beach is available. What can I say? Maybe you're right? Especially considering that when entering the water at Platania Beach, you might encounter some rocks (which are not present on Sarti Beach), making the arguments even stronger. Maybe there's no logic in coming here. Despite that, I would still say a word or two in defense of Platania Beach.
Sarti City Beach Sithonia
Sarti city beach is sandy and about 3 km long. It has been awarded the Blue Flag as proof of the high quality of the sea and the amenities it offers. Along the beach, there are several cafes where you can rent sun umbrellas or sunbeds and enjoy your favourite refreshing drink. From the city beach, you have an excellent view of the famous Mount Athos.

Near Sarti, there are many beaches worth visiting. These include Armenistis Beach with crystal clear water, Banana Beach, and Orange Beach with the small beach of Kavourotripes, which is a true paradise on earth. You can also visit Platanitsi Beach, where the famous Africafe bar is located, or perhaps Klimataria Beach with its white sand and always calm water.
